Hi I'm Kathy!
My name is Kathy Nguyen, I am from Vietnam, currently working for Oracle CAPAC Services Company Ltd. Covid-19 has stopped me from doing many social activities as well as travelling. However , as someone said “If we cannot go outside, go inside”. I have started my mini garden at the balcony since March as my company started working from home.

How I Started...
How I Started...
At first, I have 2 pots of chillis and mint which I bought before the CNY but unfortunately they had died due to lacking of water while I got back from home for the new year celebration. The soil still there and could be reused, I started seeding the bitter gourd which I got remain after my meal. Amazingly it grows so fast and so nice.
Now...
Now...
Since then, I has continued my garden with kangkong, malabar spinach, peanut, tomato and lemon grass, etc. All are from the daily vegetable stuff. After that, I realised I should invest more on seeds, soil, fertiliser and styrofoam box to enlarge my garden and plan it properly. Now I have with me many herbal types and main veggies I likes. It would take some time more to get return my investment.
What a Feeling!

However, it gives me significantly great feeling of witnessing my plants growing, a responsible feeling of being parenting for them, taking care and watering them daily. It makes my day more enjoyable and relax. They are not only my future source of grocery, they are my friends now. Green friends for positive feeling, good learning to be a responsible human in the society to care for others. I hope you would enjoy doing it too. Believe me, it’s more than growing veggies, it teaches you lot more than that!
